New Scholarship!

GHS Alumni Scholarship- This is for students who will be going to a 2 or 4 yr college.  Dr. Chavez has the applications.  If she is not available, please see your counselor.  Due to Dr. Chavez by May 1.

 

 

April 2017 Announcements

Delta Accuplacer Test: Students can take this 2 hour exam the week of April 3-7, 3:15-5:00 at both schools.  LRHS: Rm 132 and GHS: 88.  Students must first apply to Delta 2 days prior to taking the test so they will have their student ID that is required on exam day.

 

Scholarships: Many local scholarships still available. Some I will collect for the donor and others must be sent in by the deadline.  If a student misses the deadline to turn in a scholarship application to me, they can send directly to the address is listed on scholarship form.

 

College Fair at University of the Pacific: Permission slips are due the week of Apr 3-7 to me or to the teacher (GHS: Carli Feuerbach, LRHS: Andrew Fisher or Anabelle Gonzalez). Field trip is May 1.

 

Delta College: New Student Saturday: 8am-1pm at Delta College where students can complete Orientation, Assessment, and Educational Plan in one day.  Students choose 1 day from these dates:

April 15, April 29, May 13, May 20.  Attendees must have applied to Delta College prior to attending the event and must have their Delta ID.  To sign up for this event:  http://tinyurl.com/zemua2d

 

ASVAB Interpretation: April 21 at 8 am, Rm 88, GHS.  1:30-2:30, Library

Attention Seniors:

Valley Oaks Grange Hall Scholarship is due to Dr. Chavez on March 15.  If she is not in her office, please put in her box.

 

There are many local scholarships available.  See Dr. Chavez for applications and list of scholarships.  Teachers also have access to this list.

 

ASVAB will be offered in the Library on Mar 17.  All are welcome to sign up for it.  See Mrs. Siegalkoff or Dr. Chavez to sign up.

 

WACAC College Fair at University of the Pacific on May 1: If you are interested in talking with representatives from  over 250 colleges, come join us on this field trip.  First come, first serve for the first 100 students. 

Permission slips required.  See Dr. Chavez for details.
