Disneyland – For those going to Disneyland, be here by 4:50am on Tuesday, June 4th.  Buses are scheduled to leave at 5:00am.  We have in the past left without people, we will do the same.  The Senior Class officers voted to provide snacks on the way up, so we will have breakfast bars, muffins and water on the bus for you all.  We will make 1 stop in Kettleman City for restrooms and food.  We want to get to Disneyland as close to park opening as possible.  At the time of arrival you will receive your ticket and will go through security at the special entrance.  Please be advised of the following:

All students will undergo a security screening upon arrival. Security screenings include – bag checks, metal detectors and use of canines. If any of the processes indicate the presence of an illegal item, entrance to the park will be denied.

No outside food or beverages will be allowed in the park.

Selfie Sticks, Speakers of any kind, Weapons, Alcohol and Drugs are PROHIBITED!!

Disneyland has a dress code.  Please dress modestly and appropriately. We will be checking dress code prior to allowing you on the bus.

All students must keep their ticket on their person at all times and must wear the wristband that will be provided once they clear security. BOTH the ticket and wristband are non-replaceable if lost or stolen which means you will not be admitted to the Grad Nite Event if you do not have your ticket.

You must be inside California Adventure by 9:00 pm.  Security will lock down the park and you will not be able to enter or exit California Adventure (The actual Grad-Nite Party).

At 1:45 begin making your way to the buses.

Remember, you are not to leave the Disney property for any reason.  Doing so will likely preclude you from participating in Graduation.

Bus Sign-Ups for Disneyland will be May 20-23rd during lunch in room 113.  Bus sign-ups will be first come, first served and will remain intact round trip. If you do not sign-up for a bus by the 23rd, you will be assigned one.

Disneyland Permission Slips are due back to Mrs. Silvey in room 113 by May 23rd.

If you are required to take medication while on the Disney trip, you will need to fill out the medication form and return that to Mrs. Plant or Mrs. Mariani in the nurses office by May 23rd

June 6th- Graduation Day!!!-  All graduates MUST be at Memorial Auditorium and checked in by 5:15 pm.  We will line up and run through from 5:30-6:30.  At 6:40 doors will open and parents will be allowed to come in and be seated.  Please make sure your parents/guests are aware of the following:

The address for Memorial Auditorium is – 1515 J Street,  Sacramento

Admittance to graduation is by ticket only.  No ticket, no admittance.

Parking will be difficult.  The best way to combat that is to reserve parking spots and pre-pay on sacpark.org

Doors WILL NOT open until 6:40.  No guests will be permitted in the building prior to that time.

Balloons are not permitted in the building.  Guests will be directed to return them to vehicles or they will be confiscated by the Memorial Auditorium Staff and thrown away. Entrance doors will be closed and locked at 7:00 pm for the Graduation processional to begin.  Doors will reopen at approximately 7:15.

Once inside the building, please find seats.  Please DO NOT go searching for your graduate.  There will be plenty of time for pictures and greetings AFTER the ceremony.  Please don’t disrupt them as they are lining up and coordinating, YOU WILL BE DIRECTED TO LEAVE.

In order to limit issues and disputes, there will be no saving seats.  Seats are first come, first served, so make sure your group arrives together.

Prior to Graduation, please set up a designated meeting spot for after the ceremony with your graduate and family.  It is a very chaotic sea of people after the ceremony.  If you designate a meeting spot pictures a greetings will be much easier.
