Dear Parents,
At Galt High School our goal is to provide our students with rigorous academic instruction and Career Technical Education. We offer internships and Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE) projects which allows our students to have opportunities for real-world experiences.
We are the only school in the District that currently offers the following academies and pathways:
Biomedical Engineering Science and Technology (BEST) Academy
GHS is a member of the National Academy Foundation (NAF). We are one of eight schools in the state of California that have this distinction. Our programs through Project Lead the Way (PLTW) provide project based learning opportunities for students to develop critical thinking skills. We also coordinate internships with the private and public sector, for example, Verizon and the Galt Department of Public Works.

Galt High School has a long tradition of supporting and promoting the arts. Our ceramic students have consistently been recognized for their excellence at the State Fair Competitions. Our art program is also well received and has provided students with opportunities to continue to excel. We have had many graduates continue as students at the Art Institute of California- San Francisco. Our Drama program consistently has been recognized for its commitment to excellence and we have recently instituted a 7th period Drama production class which is open to all students in the Galt High School District.
